Deluxing Upholstery
Step 1 - All items must have images taken of ALL labels on the items as well as images of the item in its original packaging and uploaded to the order prior to deluxing.
Step 2 - Please note any exterior defects or damages to the packaging at this point
Step 3 - Please open all products with the exception of white fabric. Inspect the packaging thoroughly to avoid items from getting soiled
Step 4 - Make sure all feet are installed to avoid any assembly issues in the home
Step 5 - Inspect all items for any visible defects. Example: Scuffs, tears, pulls, loose strings, Cambric, etc…
Step 6 - Layout multiple items as they would appear in the home. Check for proper configuration of items
Step 7 - If needed brush, wipe or steam items for 1st quality appearance
Step 8 - Check for any accessory items such as throw pillows, stain kits, literature
Step 9 - All moving items both mechanical and Electrical must be tested in the warehouse.
Deluxing Cased Goods
Step 1 - All items must have images taken of ALL labels on the items as well as images of the item in its original packaging and uploaded to the order prior to deluxing.
Step 2 - Please note any exterior defects or damages to the packaging at this point
Step 3 - Please open all products and assemble fully. Checking for the following: Assemble all items to ensure all hardware and items are present, open and close doors and drawers multiple times for proper performance, Check for any anti tip hardware and place on top of the item, install handles, pulls and feet
Step 4 - Wipe down all items and clean drawers of any packing materials
Step 5 - Layout multiple items as they would appear in the home. Check for matching colors and proper configuration of items
Step 6 - Check for accessories such as leaves for tables. You may split line items to create labels for each item once it is opened for tracking purposes
Deluxing Glass/Mirrors
Step 1 - All items must have images taken of ALL labels on the items as well as images of the item in its original packaging and uploaded to the order prior to deluxing.
Step 2 - Please note any exterior defects or damages to the packaging at this point. If item is crated and you will not be opening the crate, please inspect packaging fully while listening for loose glass and check shock watch indicator if applicable
Step 3 - Check entire glass area for any cracks, chips and defects
Step 4 - Please wipe all glass/mirror with glass cleaner
Deluxing Stone/Marble
Step 1 - All items must have images taken of ALL labels on the items as well as images of the item in its original packaging and uploaded to the order prior to deluxing.
Step 2 - Please note any exterior defects or damages to the packaging at this point. If item is crated and you will not be opening the crate, please inspect packaging fully while listening for loose items and check Shock Watch indicator if applicable
Step 3 - Keep all crates vertical until delivery to avoid damaging items inside
