Creating Manifest
A manifest can be created multiple ways. Here are the requirements.
The name of the manifest should reflect the region it is supporting and also if it is a multiple day trip.
The Sub-regions should be selected for the areas this manifest is supporting
A stop/item count must be set in the caps area and the manifest should be “pre-approved”
Adding orders to the manifest
Only confirmed orders/customers may be added to a manifest. We should not use manifests to pre-schedule customers .
If using ROBO-call please make sure they have multiple options for scheduling to avoid heavy call center volume.
Maintaining manifest
It is the hubs responsibility to make sure space is available in each subregion they cover using the caps portion of the manifest screen
All Sub- regions within 100 miles should never need to wait more than 7 days for Delivery.
For any sub regions you do not service weekly, you must update your lead time alert in GH.
A supervisor verification scan must be performed 24 to 48 hours prior to delivery day. If any items are missing during this scan a “Dock search” must be performed.
A clean driver scan should be completed the morning of delivery or the night prior if night loading or 2 day route.
Closing of manifest should be completed once all deliveries are finalized and all returns are scanned into your facility.
It is the Hubs responsibility to get clear images of all items being both delivered and picked up. If damages are not clear in the images you run the risk of being claimed. Take the time to inspect the items. If an image does not clearly show a damage simply point at the damage in the picture and write a description in Grasshopper or the mobile App.
Routing must be completed and Time frame given at least 24 hours prior to delivery.
